I’m Dr. Shirin Moheet — a licensed clinical psychologist with over 12 years of experience helping people navigate anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, life transitions, and more. At the heart of my work is a simple belief: healing begins when you feel truly seen, heard, and understood.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I use a mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Emotion-Focused Therapy to help you build insight, develop practical tools, and move toward the changes that matter most to you.
In our sessions, you can expect a safe, down-to-earth space where we start by exploring your story — what’s working, what’s not, and what keeps showing up. From there, we’ll set meaningful goals together and begin the work of healing and growth. I’m an active therapist — I listen with empathy, offer perspective, and will gently challenge you when it supports your growth. I would be honored to walk alongside you on your path.
